Dr Heather Way

Dr Heather Way (PhD) is a researcher and practitioner in personalised genomics. She spent more than 25 years as a scientist with CSIRO before moving into clinical practice.

Her work is also personal. She is a mother of two sons on the spectrum, and the program grew out of what she learned helping them.

She trains paediatricians and other health professionals in the use of genomics in practice, and speaks at conferences in Australia and the United States.

Dr Heather holds a PhD and is not a medical doctor. She is a researcher specialising in autism genomics.
